Survey Versions
Survey versions allow you to manage surveys in an easy and efficient way. Survey versioning provides you with the ability to undo or redo any step that you may have missed or want to improve or change in any way.
With survey versioning, you can safely make changes to the survey without having to worry about data consistency or data discrepancy issues.

Survey versioning is now available in BETA and will be rolled out to all organizations by September 2025. Please reach out to your account manager if you wish to try out early access to our brand new survey authoring tech stack and survey versioning.
What is a survey version?
With our brand new survey authoring tech stack, we now offer the ability to audit every change to the survey. We maintain logs for every edit on a survey and offer flexibility and ability to choose any version of the surve to publish and use as a final copy.
For accessing survey versions, go to:
Login » Surveys (Select Survey)
Under
Edit survey, click on the
Tools menu.
Under
Tools, click on the
Survey Versions option.
Here you will see all logs and changes made to the survey. If a survey is shared, edits or updates made by every user are logged and can be audited.
Whenver you publish a survey, the version is tagged as
Published
Can I go back to an older version of the survey?
Yes. You can select any version to go back to. Select the version that you want to use and click on the Restore Version button. Before making the change, you can also preview the particular version.
What happens to the data collected with different versions?
You don't need to worry about the data!
All your dashboards, analysis, and exports will work based on the latest survey version that you see under your workspace.
Responses or data collected on any survey version will not be deleted when a version is changed.
You can manually delete responses, but be aware that this action is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleted responses will not be included in any survey versions or data.
Thank you for submitting feedback.
